03 January 2022 | MANILA, Philippines – Lorenzo Shipping Corporation (LSC), with its dedicated service and continued support to Odette typhoon-hit victims, received a testament of appreciation from Caritas Manila last December 31. Through Caritas’ Damayan Program, a preventive health and disaster management program that provides emergency assistance to families, LSC provided free transportation services during the crucial period of relief operations to Typhoon Odette victims in Cebu. LSC transported almost 30 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs) of cargoes carrying relief goods, essential supplies, and medicines from Caritas, Bureau of Quarantine, Philippine Star, and Philippine-Japan Manning Consultative Council. “LSC is sincerely grateful and honored to receive this token on behalf of and with the support of the MAGSAYSAY Shipping and Logistics (MSL) Group. Rest assured, our teams will continue to provide the necessary aid to our affected kababayans in the spirit of We Care. With God’s blessing and the charity of other organizations alike, we shall rise from the shambles,” remarked RJ Madamba, LSC President and COO. *LSC is a member company of Magsaysay Shipping and Logistics (MSL).
