Magsaysay Shipping and Logistics (MSL), together with Lorenzo Shipping Corp. and NMC Container Lines Inc., supported the Philippine Liner Shipping Association’s (PLSA) campaign by posting messages and photos on their Facebook accounts, using the hashtags #PHShippingServingYou and #ShippingYouCanDependOn. MSL celebrates the unique contribution of its frontliners–seafarers, the port workers, truckers, and operations teams–during this challenging situation. Despite the risk, the MSL frontliners, considered as modern-day heroes, are committed to keep the business moving and to deliver the essential goods 24/7 to the Filipino nation. Personalities like ABS-CBN’s Broadcast Journalist Karen Davila and Philippine Tatler’s Editor-in-Chief Anton San Diego also shared the Magsaysay’s post to show their support for the Philippine shipping industry frontliners. Last April, PLSA launched the #PHShippingServingYou campaign to thank the domestic shipping industry frontliners who continue to work day and night to bring food, medicines, and essential needs to the Filipino people during the COVID-19 pandemic.
