06 January 2022 | MANILA, Philippines – Lorenzo Shipping Corporation (LSC) offered free port-to-port shipment of relief goods and other donations to families and communities affected by Typhoon Odette in Cebu. A member of the Philippine Liner Shipping Association (PLSA), LSC has partnered with the national government to help facilitate the sending of relief goods to our kababayans in need and aid in their recovery. The vessel General Evangelista, with the first batch of relief goods, have left Manila for Cebu last January 5. As of writing, LSC has already transported 3 units of 20-footer container vans of relief goods and in-kind donations. Celebrating 50 years in the industry, LSC has consistently been at the forefront of disaster response, recovery, and community rebuilding. Working closely with government agencies for relief operations, the organization has also provided the much-needed support and assistance in the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Through these efforts, LSC continues to champion the Magsaysay value of We Care for the benefit of the nation and our fellow Filipinos.
