LSC MARKS 50TH YEAR IN INDUSTRY

Lorenzo Shipping Corporation (LSC) celebrated its golden anniversary in the industry with an intimate gathering to look back on its 50-year journey. Held at the 20th Floor, Times Plaza Building, on October 17, the fun celebration was graced by Magsaysay Shipping and Logistics (MSL) President and CEO Jesse H. Maxwell and LSC President and COO RJ B. Madamba. Magsaysay Group President and CEO Doris Ho joined the LSC MPs from provincial offices and onboard crew members virtually via Teams Meeting.

“This milestone is another opportunity for us to think about the future. Let’s go into this new decade, 51 and beyond, with more wisdom, greater strength, and passion to be the best in class,” said Jesse in his inspirational message as he thanked all LSC MPs for their hard work and dedication.

With the vision to become the gold standard in providing domestic liner shipping and transportation, LSC was established in 1972. Over the years, as the demands of the industry grew, LSC strived to respond and expand its services. Now, the company operates eight (8) container vessels in ten (10) major ports nationwide – Manila, Bacolod, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Cotabato, Davao, Dumaguete, General Santos, Iloilo, and Zamboanga cities.

“Our collective efforts make LSC a great company. Despite the challenges, we are still here. Despite the limitations, we still exceed,” said RJ in his toast message. To commemorate LSC’s journey, a thanksgiving video was presented as a tribute to all the men and women who have loyally served the company over the years.

Much has changed since 1972, but LSC remains committed to service excellence and dedicated to helping customers find solutions for their transportation needs.

The celebration was organized by MSL HR and LSC Marketing Team. LSC MPs also enjoyed raffle draws and Filipino merienda during the simple gathering.
